Dec 2, 2023 - Felicitation on World AIDS Day
Honouring our trust's continuous support to HIV-AIDS affected patients, We have been presented a trophy appreciating our efforts. Our secretary Mr Muralidharan collected the trophy on behalf of the trust. Many dignitaries like the Collector of Salem, RTO Chief and Dean of Salem Government Hospital were present at this event.
Dec 1, 2022 - Felicitation on World AIDS Day
On World AIDS Day, Vizhudhugall'87 received an appreciation award and certificate for the support we continuously render to HIV-affected patients. Mrs Valli Sathyamurthy, Dean of Government Hospital in Salem, presented the award to our Secretary Mr Muralidharan. An awareness walk on World AIDS day was conducted from Salem Collector's office to the Government Hospital of Salem in which students of multiple medical colleges, nurses and Government school children showed their eager participation.
Oct 29, 2022 - Award & Thirunangaiyar book release event
Our secretary Mr Muralidharan was honoured as the chief guest and judge for the "Thirunangaiyar Beauty Contest" held in Kutralam on 29th October 2022. An award was also presented to our trust identifying the services done for their community.
"Thirunangaiyar Kural" - a monthly magazine initiative was also inaugurated on this day.
Oct 16, 2022 - Rotary and Rotaract club event
The Rotary club of Salem Grand and the Rotaract club of Salem Sakthi jointly conducted an event for the distribution of new dresses to 50 children who have HIV-positive parents. Dr Kartik Rajaratnam was asked to be the guest of honour and Mr Muralidharan helped in arranging the kids for the event. The club presented an award recognizing our service during the pandemic.
Oct 15, 2022 - Salem Pengal nazhavazhvu sangam event
Salem Pengal Nazhavazhvu Sangam felicitated our trust recognizing the work done for their community. The award was presented by Ms Parameshwari, the president of the club.
March 7, 2022 - Felicitations @ Mupperum Vizha
Vizhudhugall'87 was honoured and felicitated yesterday at the "Mupperum Vizha" organised by Salem Thirunangaigal Nala Sangam and Salem Pengal NalaVaazhvu Sangam. Mrs Lavanaya and Mr Muralidharan accepted the felicitations. Vizhudhugall'87 distributed 150 packets of tomato rice for all the attendees at the event and presented a cheque for Rs 1000/- towards their deeds.
Dec 1, 2021- World Aids Day
Recognition and appreciation are the foundation of healthy environments. Our first appreciation award and certificate were presented this day by the Dean of Salem Government Hospital honouring the work vizhudhugall'87 has been doing serving the HIV-AIDS affected community. Roaring applause to all the trust members, donors, event planners and organizers for making this happen and helping us achieve our goals. Our gratitude to Mr Ranganathan, VDRP director, for referring our trust name to this programme.
